Broken Deal
Introduction
The Elite S.H.I.E.L.D Alliance is an alliance full of secret government agents, disguising themselves as "criminals" and "gangsters". This alliance consists of many secret government groups, including 'W.R. Penguins' and 'The Core'. The alliance's main goal is to eliminate all gangs from Club Penguin. But in their way is a much larger alliance full of harsh criminals. An alliance known as the 'Snow Trail Allies', who know about the Elite S.H.I.E.L.D Alliance's secret, and are willing to do ANYTHING to stop them. While the Snow Trail Allies are fighting against the Elite S.H.I.E.L.D Alliance, a gang known as 'La Pandilla' is at war with the 'Snow Lane Mafia' group 'Immortal', who were in fact once allies with La Pandilla. Who will win the wars? You'll find out soon enough! Oh, and also, while these alliances are fighting, some "unexpected guests" are watching...
Chapter 1: Bloody Little Liar
Monday, June 5, 2006 - Alfonzo's Office, Mexico Street, Club Penguin
"All I need ya to do is invade the comerciantes' hood and steal da monay. They betrayed us, now it's time fo' us to show dem who the pandilla of Mexico really is!" Alfonzo Hernandez, the so called "Godfather of Mexico Street", says to the La Pandilla gang.
"But sir, I'm not trying to disrespect you, but those guys are our aliados, our friends! We can't just barge into their 'hood and shoot up their guys, it's against the code of the mafia!" Armando, the leader of the Mexican Street gang, La Pandilla, tells his leader.
"Listen, I'm da leader of tis mafia, I can break every code in da book and get away wit it because I created da book! Plus, they betrayed us by helping da enemies. We have every right to end dem!" Alfonzo responds. "I don't want ya to invade dem and kill all they guys, I want ya to invade dem, steal the monay, THEN kill all they guys!!!" Alfonzo says. Armando shakes his head.
"Have Immortal do this then. We don't want no part of it." Armando tells Alfonzo. Armando begins to walk out of Alfonzo's office, but Alfonzo interrupts him from doing so.
"Woah, woah, woah, woah... are ya disrespecting me? Let me remind ya, I'm ya leader! I can end ya and ya gang in a heart beat! Ya do what I say or ya end up with ya friends, Grandes Criminales!" Alfonzo yells. Armando gets mad.
"Don't you ever mention the Grandes Criminales again you piece of s***!" Armando yells at Alfonzo. Alfonzo breaks a grin on his face.
"Then do da mission. I even have a reward for ya!" Alfonzo says.
"Award?" says La Pandilla member and Armando's cousin, Mario.
"Yes, award." Alfonzo responds.
"What's the award?" Mario asks. Armando looks at him.
"5 million dollas!" Alfonzo says with a grin. Mario's and La Pandilla member, Pedro's jaws drop. Armando shakes his head with pity.
"Deal!" Mario says with excitement. Armando looks at him with aggression.
"Ha! I knew ya'd do it! Ya have da right to leave now!" Alfonzo says with a huge smile on his face. The gang walks out of the office, Pedro and Mario in smiles and Armando in shock. When they get outside, Armando turns to Mario.
"Are you freakin' crazy?! You're going to let money get to your head?! These are our allies, they did the right thing by telling the CPPD Roberto's location. You remember Roberto? The one who tried to blow up the whole dang street? The one who Alfonzo thought was the best freakin' thing livin'? If we attack the La Hermandad gang, we're supporting that b*stard!" Armando tells him.
"Listen, 5 million dollars is hard to pass up. Plus, La Hermandad did the wrong thing by getting the CPPD involved. If you remember correctly, that gang tried to blow up the street one time, too. Just trust me, in the end, it'll benefit all of us." Mario says.
"You better hope so." Armando tells him. "If this ends up in something bad, the blame is going on you. Just remember that." He adds.
"I will. Now come on, we have to get back to base and come up with our plan!" Mario says while walking up to Armando's car. They all get in the car and head back to the gang's warehouse.
Wednesday, June 7, 2006 - Armando's Warehouse, Mexico Street, Club Penguin
"Ok, Mario. You got us in this mess, so you're leading us through this attack." Armando tells Mario.
"Me? Amigo, I'm not a leader. If I lead this mission, I'll lead us to our graves. I'm not doing it." Mario responds.
"Listen, you agreed to this thing without my approval! If you don't lead, then we're staying home and your little rich fantasy will stay at that, a fantasy." Armando yells at Mario.
"Fine, but if we don't make it, it's your fault!" Mario says.
"No, it's your fault." Armando tells him.
"No, it's yo..." Mario begins to say until he suddenly gets interrupted.
"SHUT UP! WHO GIVES A CRAP WHOSE FAULT IT WOULD BE, LET'S JUST DO IT!" Pedro yells out to the two of them. Mario and Armando stand there looking at him.
"What he said. C'mon guys, let's gear up." Armando orders. They all gear up. They're set to move out to the La Hermandad neighborhood at 7:45 PM. It's currently 7:42 PM. "It's getting late. It takes about two minutes to get there. C'mon! Get in the car!" Armando says in a rush. They all get in Armando's car and Armando speeds out. The clock hits 7:43. "Guns?" Armando asks.
"Check." Mario responds.
"Knives?" Armando asks.
"Check." Mario says again.
"Grenades?" Armando asks.
"Got 'em." Mario says.
"Where the h*ll did you get grenades?!" Asks Pedro.
"I know a guy." Armando tells him. He soon drives the gang up to the Hermanos del Peligro, an ally of La Pandilla, warehouse parking lot, just two blocks away from the La Hermandad neighborhood. He comes to a complete stop. "Ok, masks on and load up. Mario, you take it from here." Armando says. Mario shakes his head. They then get out of the car.
"Let's run to the forest across the street and sneak up on them." Mario orders. They do just that. When they get close to the neighborhood, Mario orders a stop. "Get down!" He whispers. "Ok, remember - do no harm to their warehouse." Mario whispers. "I think that's one of the Hermanos Apartments." Mario whispers, pointing at a nearby building.
"No, that's the Hermanos armor shop." Armando corrects him. Mario gives him an annoyed look. Armando grins.
"Whatever. We should bomb it first. Pedro, take this grenade and set it behind the shop. When you got it set, run back to us. We'll be behind one of those trees about a block away. Be sneaky. Ok?" Mario orders. Pedro nods his head. He does as ordered. After he sets the bomb, he runs back to the gang and hides behind a random tree. About three seconds later, the grenade goes off. It causes the shop to collapse. "ATTACK!" Mario yells, randomly firing his gun. They begin to attack. Armando gets the best of them, with 8 successful shots. 6 of them - headshots. Mario has only wounded one person, and killed none.
"Haven't you ever learned how to shoot a d*mn gun?!" Armando asks Mario loudly. Mario suddenly stops firing and drops his gun.
"Give me the grenades!" Mario says loudly. Armando reaches for the grenades, but before he can grab them, Mario snatches them away. Members of La Hermandad have gathered outside with guns and glass bottles.
"WHAT THE H*LL ARE YOU DOIN'?!" Armando yells at Mario.
"THE MISSION!" Mario yells back. He runs up to the neighborhood and starts throwing set grenades at random buildings. An armed Pedro covers him. Minutes later, half of the neighborhood is covered in flames. That doesn't stop Mario. He continues throwing. Pedro and Armando continue firing. After several minutes, every La Hermandad member in sight is down.
"CLEAR!" Pedro yells. Armando and him quit firing. Armando walks up to Mario.
"Are you freakin' crazy?! You could've blew up the warehouse!" Armando yells at Mario with anger.
"I didn't, did I?!" Mario says with a smile. Armando shakes his head and walks off.
"You almost did. Part of it is on fire. We gotta get in there and steal the money before the whole place burns down. Let's go!" Armando orders, looking down the street at the warehouse.
"I thought I was leading?" Mario asks.
"After witnessing that, I think I should take over. Shut up and run!" Armando demands. They all run through the burning neighborhood until they reach the La Hermandad warehouse. "You burned all the outside guards. You sick b*stard. Let's go in!" Armando says. They enter the burning warehouse with guns in the air.
"Where are all the inside guards?" asks Pedro.
"Not sure. They're probably all p*ssed scared. I would be too." Armando replies. "Here we go, the main office. The money should be in here. Get your guns ready, there has to be enemies in here!" Armando orders. He begins to open the door.
"Unlocked?" Mario asks.
"You probably scared them so bad that they forgot to lock it. Come on, let's go." Armando whispers. He pushes the door open and raises his gun. "Clear? That's funny. There's the money! Let's grab it and get the h*ll out of here!" Armando says.
"What's that ticking?" Pedro asks.
"Not sure. Let's just grab the money." Armando says while picking up the briefcase full of money. His face turns to shock. "BOMB!!!!!!! RUN!!!!!!!!!!" Armando screams. They all run out as fast as they can. "BOOM!!!!!" They make it out just in time. The boom knocks them off their feet. "HOLY ****! LET'S GET OUT OF HERE!" Armando yells. He picks himself up and runs out of the neighborhood with the briefcase. Pedro and Mario follows. They run to the Hermanos del Peligro parking lot and climb into the car. "Mission accomplished." Armando says, speeding off.
Thursday, June 8, 2006; 8:13 AM - Alfonzo's Office, Mexico Street, Club Penguin
"We got the money, Alfonzo." Armando says, seemingly tired.
"Aw, yes! Da monay! Give it, give it, oh please give it!" Alfonzo says excitingly. Armando hands him the briefcase full of money. "AW, SWEET VICTORY!" Alfonzo yells. He then gets up from his chair and does a dance. Armando shakes his head.
"We went through h*ll getting that, you better be dancing." Pedro says. "Now that we did your deed, you know what we want." Pedro tells him.
"Oh yes, ya monay. Listen, I don't currently have it wit me. Trust me, doh. Tomorrow mornin', I guarantee I'll have it!" Alfonzo says with a grin.
"Tomorrow morning? Listen, if this is one of your little tricks..." Armando begins to say until Alfonzo interrupts him.
"Listen, it's not a trick. Tomorrow mornin', amigos, ya monay will be here! Trust me!" Alfonzo says. An evil grin appears on his face.
"Whatever. Just remember, if it's not here tomorrow, your near future takes place in a coffin, you hear?!" Armando says seriously.
"I hear, now get out of here. I have business to take care of!" Alfonzo says. He still has the evil grin on his face. He points to the exit. Armando walks backwards to the door, without taking an eye off of him. They exit.
"Stupid lil' fools." Alfonzo tells himself. He then lights a cigar and breaks the same evil grin he broke a few minutes ago.
Friday, June 9, 2006; 7:57 AM - Alfonzo's Office, Mexico Street, Club Penguin
"Load up your guns just in case this is a trick." Armando says to the other La Pandilla members in his car just outside of Alfonzo's office. "Let's go." Armando says. They all get out of the car and walk into the fancy office. "Alfonzo! Alfonzo! We're here!" Armando says loudly.
"Are you here?!" Mario asks loudly. No answer.
"Where the h*ll is he?!" Armando asks.
"Hey, Armando. Look on his desk. A note." Pedro tells Armando, pointing to a folded up piece of paper on Alfonzo's desk that reads 'La Pandilla'. Armando picks it up and unfolds it. He begins reading.
"Dear La Fools! When ya find this letter, I'll probably be on a airplane heading to a secret location. Why? Simple - business. Classified business. Ya probably expecting a briefcase full of monay on the desk or somewhere in my office. Well guess what? Gotcha! Dis was all a trick! I know what ya said, Armando, and I'll admit, I'm kinda scared, but ya will never find me! But don't worry, ya won't see the last of me. But when ya do see me, I won't be alone! And no, I won't have ya monay! HA! Never trust a rich guy in a suit! Later, suckas! Oh, and P.S, ya aren't the only ones at my office right now..." Armando looks peed off. He rips up the piece of paper and throws it to the floor.
"What does he mean we're not the only ones..." Mario begins to say until he's interrupted by a gun shot through the window. "WHAT THE..." Mario yells. Armando gets his gun out and tries to pull a trigger, but a blow to the arm stops him. He drops the gun. He then suffers another blow to his other arm. Then a blow to his leg. Then finally, a blow to his stomach. He goes down. Pedro looks on in fear. Him and Mario begin firing their guns at the unknown group just outside of the office. Pedro continues firing until a bullet nearly rips his arm from the socket. The shot is so powerful it turns him around. He then suffers a bullet in the left side of his back. Then the right. He falls to the floor. Mario is the only one standing. He doesn't stop shooting. He dodges every bullet that comes near him. He then grabs Armando's gun and starts firing it. He fires the two guns until the unknown group stops firing. When he thinks he killed them all, a sharp object rips through his back. He falls to the floor in pain. Above him stands a penguin in a black hoodie, mask, and brown hat. He has a bloody knife in his right hand. He kicks the two guns away from Mario and delivers a huge stab to Mario's left shoulder. He leaves the knife in Mario's shoulder and walks out of the office. He gets in a car and the unknown group of 6 flee from the scene.

Chapter 2: A New-found Enemy
Tuesday, September 16, 2008 - Snow Lane Club, Snow Lane Street, Club Penguin
"Ok, Ric, do you see any enemy activity around the club?" Michael Lefado, the Elite S.H.I.E.L.D Alliance Director, asks Officer Ric through his walkie talkie.
"No, sir. Just two club guards and a couple of teenagers." Officer Ric replies, while looking through his binoculars at the Snow Lane Club, just three blocks away.
"Ok, good. Make your move." Lefado tells him.
"Yes sir." Ric says. He then speeds off to the club, with his sirens off. A bunch of other cop cars follow him. They surround the club.
"Ok, sir. The club is surrounded." Ric tells Lefado.
"Great. You know what to do next. If you have any troubles, contact me. Over." Lefado says.
"Over." Ric says. He then loads up his gun and gets out of his car. The other police officers do the same. They all point their gun toward the club. All except Ric. Ric picks up his walkie talkie instead.
"Alright, boys. We're in position. Over." Ric tells the W.R. Penguins, secret Elite S.H.I.E.L.D members disguised as a gang.
"Alright. Thanks Ric. Over." Agent Rocks, code name W.R. 88, says from inside the club's restroom. "Alright, guys. Masks on. You know the plan. Let's go." He says. The group then storm out of the restroom and takes out their guns. "FLIPPERS UP! GET ON YOUR KNEES! WE WILL SHOOT!" W.R. 88 yells. Everybody in the club drops to their knees with their flippers up in panic. The group searches around. "Do you see her?" W.R. 88 whispers.
"Nope." Agent Roberts, code name W.R. 7, replies.
"Keep looking." W.R. 88 says. "OK, LISTEN UP! WE'RE LOOKING FOR A BROWN FEMALE PENGUIN, BLONDE HAIR, BLUE EYES! HER NAME IS WHITNAY! WHERE IS SHE?!" W.R. 88 yells. The penguins look around. No answer.
"Found her." W.R. 7 says.
"Where?" asks W.R. 88. W.R. 7 points over at the dance floor. Whitnay is over there with a worried look on her face. She's the only one with her flippers not up. "YOU!" W.R. 88 says, pointing to Whitnay. He then walks over to her with his gun aiming at her. "LAY ON THE FLOOR! NOW, OR I'LL SHOOT!" he yells. Whitnay does exactly that. 88 and 7 grab a hold of her arms and pick her up. 88 raises his gun. "IF ANY OF YOU SNITCH ON US, WE WILL KILL YOU, YOU GOT IT?!" W.R. 88 yells. He then fires the gun at the wall. The crowd panics.
"There's our signal." Officer Ric whispers into his walkie talkie. The cops storm into the club. "HEY! DON'T MAKE A MOVE!" Ric says, pointing the gun at 88. "DROP THE GUN!" he yells.
"MAKE ME!" W.R. 88 yells back. Ric fires the gun but purposely misses 88 and shoots the wall behind him. 88 goes into shock and drops his weapon. The rest of the W.R. Penguins do the same. The officers go over to the penguins and hand-cuff them. Ric goes over to 88 and cuffs him. He then orders two officers to take Whitnay to his car. The officers do just that. Ric then orders the rest of the officers to take the W.R. Penguins to their police cars. They do just that. When they get outside, Ric takes 88 to his police car and puts him in the back of it. Before shutting the door, Ric whispers "Good job" to Rocks.
Wednesday, September 17, 2008 - Lefado's Warehouse, Snow Fort Street, Club Penguin
Ric and the officers take the W.R. Penguins and Whitnay to Michael Lefado's warehouse the next morning.
"They did a very good job, Michael." Ric tells Lefado. "They got the girl."
"Terrific, bring her in." Lefado tells Ric. Ric goes outside to his car and gets a hand cuffed Whitnay out from the back seat. The other officers get the cuffed W.R. Penguins out from their cars. When they all enter the warehouse, the officers uncuff the W.R. Penguins and leads Whitnay to the questioning room, where Lefado is waiting for her.
"Whitnay, correct?" Lefado asks the girl.
"Whatever." Whitnay responds.
"Take a seat." Lefado tells her with his hands in his pockets. She sits down.
"If I'm not mistaken, you have a romantic relationship with Snow Lane Gang member Tac, right?" Lefado asks.
"Whatever." Whitnay says.
"I want an answer!" Lefado demands. Whitnay rolls her eyes.
"Yes." Whitnay says, with an annoyed look on her face. "Now I have a question - Why are those crazies who tried to kidnap me uncuffed and set free?!" she asks.
"The answer to that question is classified, sorry." Lefado replies.
"They tried to KIDNAP ME! That's against the law and I'm the one in custody?!" Whitnay says loudly.
"You're in custody because you're dating a criminal." Lefado tells her.
"That doesn't mean I'm a criminal." she responds.
"I never said you were." Lefado says.
"Then why am I here?" Whitnay asks.
"Simply because we want answers." Lefado replies.
"Answers to what?!" she asks. Lefado slams his hands on the table and leans forward a little.
"How long have you been dating Tac?" Lefado asks her.
"About a year, why?" Whitnay replies.
"Have you ever seen him in action with the Snow Lane Gang?" Lefado asks.
"Why are you asking m..." Whitnay begins to ask.
"ANSWER THE QUESTION!" Lefado says loudly.
"Yes!" Whitnay shouts.
"Has he ever fired a gun at somebody?" Lefado asks her.
"Yes..." she responds.
"Has he ever killed anybody?" Lefado asks.
"Yes..." Whitnay says again.
"How many penguins have he killed?" Lefado asks her.
"That I've witnessed?" she asks.
"Yes." Lefado replies.
"About... 8... somewhere around that number..." she says.
"How did you react?" Lefado asks her.
"I just.. stood there..." she replies.
"Have you ever tried to stop him from firing his gun?" Lefado asks.
"No..." Whitnay says.
"So you just watched while a murderer killed penguins?" Lefado asks her.
"He's not a murderer!" Whitnay shouts.
"Yes, he is!" Lefado says loudly.
"No, he's not!" she says loudly.
"YES, he is!" Lefado shouts.
"NO HE'S NOT!!!!!!!!!" Whitnay screams. She begins crying. Lefado lifts his hands off the table and crosses his arms. He breaks a grin.
"Listen, Tac is a criminal. We want his and his gang's location." Lefado tells her politely.
"Well, you're not going to get it from me!" Whitnay says, crying.
"Oh, really? I don't have any plans for the rest of the week, I wouldn't mind keeping you in here until I get an answer." Lefado tells her.
"Well, I guess you're going to be spending the rest of the week with me, then." Whitnay says in tears.
"I want their location!" Lefado demands. Whitnay just sits there, looking away from him. Still in tears.
"I'll say it again - I WANT AN ANSWER!" Lefado shouts. Whitnay doesn't reply.
"I WANT A D*MN ANSWER!!!!!!!" Lefado yells.
"I DON'T KNOW!" Whitnay bursts.
"What do you mean you don't kn..." Lefado begins to say before getting interrupted by Whitnay.
"I haven't talked to the gang in days. Tac said something about going down to Club Oreo for 'business'. That was the last I've heard of him." Whitnay says quietly.
"Business? What kind of business?" Lefado asks her.
"I'm not sure. A couple days before I last talked to him, though, I caught him talking to someone on the phone in his bedroom. They were talking about some Mexico Street gang. El Pinella... I think..."
"La Pandilla?" Lefado asks.
"Yes! That was it!" Whitnay says.
"Why were they talking about them? Do you know exactly who Tac was talking to?" Lefado asks her.
"I don't know, and I don't know. Haven't I answered enough questions already? When can I leave?!" Whitnay asks Lefado impatiently.
"Wait, one more question. What is Snow Lane Gang's relationship with the Mexico Street gangs?" Lefado asks with an interested look.
"I'm not sure. They have some kind of alliance with a mafia down there... that's all I know." Whitnay replies. "Can I leave now?!" she asks.
"You can leave here, but you're definitely not leaving this warehouse! RIC! SHE'S READY FOR THE CELL!" Lefado yells.
"Cell?!" Whitnay asks before getting dragged out of the room by Ric and another officer.
Thursday, September 18, 2008 - S.H.I.E.L.D Warehouse Command Room
"Ok, Whitnay said Tac was talking to some guy on the phone about the Mexico Street gang La Pandilla. I don't know much about this gang, but I do know that they're not very well liked on Mexico Street. Any information?" Michael Lefado asks the team. An officer named Travis raises his hand.
"Yes, sir! La Pandilla is the same gang that bombed the La Hermandad neighborhood back in 2006." Travis responds.
"La Hermandad? I remember that gang... aren't they the ones who told you guys about that mafia... what's their name... Snow Lane Mafia?" Lefado asks him.
"Yes, sir. Four days after La Hermandad told us, La Pandilla attacked their neighborhood. Took out all of their men. Not a single one survived. They bombed the whole d*mn place." Travis says with pity. "That attack changed Mexico Street forever. In fact, right after that attack, the Snow Lane Mafia like... disappeared... off the face of the island. No one knows where they went." he tells Lefado.
"Disappeared? Snow Lane Mafia? Did La Pandilla disappear with them?" Lefado asks Travis.
"No, sir. A day after the mafia vanished, La Pandilla got attacked by an unknown gang. The leader suffered the most damage. I haven't heard about them since." Travis responds.
"That sounds a little suspicious. Maybe the Snow Lane Gang attacked them?" Lefado says.
"Not possible, sir. On the day of the attack, all members of the Snow Lane Gang took part in a gang war on Snow Lane Street. The war lasted a whole day. I was one of the many officers to stop it." Travis tells him.
"La Pandilla was a Snow Lane Mafia gang, right?" Lefado asks.
"Yes, sir." Travis replies.
"How many gangs are in the Mexico Street area?" Lefado asks.
"Right now, including La Pandilla if they're still there, 3." Travis says.
"Names?" asks Lefado.
"La Pandilla, a gang named Hermanos del Peligro, and a gang named... Mortal? Maybe Immortal?" Travis responds.
"Any information on Hermanos del Peligro and Mortal/Immortal?" Lefado asks Travis.
"Hermanos del Peligro are pretty peaceful. Last time they were involved in a gang war was back in 2005. They're more of a robbers-type gang. Mortal or Immortal... I have no information about them..." Travis says.
"So... do you think Hermanos del Peligro attacked La Pandilla?" Lefado asks Travis.
"Oh, no! Hermanos del Peligro and La Pandilla were close! They were major allies." Travis says.
"Oh... ok. Thank you, Travis. Now that we know more about La Pandilla and Mexico Street, could Tac have been talking to the leader of this La Pandilla gang?" Lefado asks the team. Rocks speaks up.
"Not sure. He could've been talking to La Pandilla, or he could've been talking to the Snow Lane Mafia. H*ll, he could've even been speaking to the leader of Hermanos del Peligro... no one knows except for Tac, the rest of the Snow Lane Gang, and the guy he was talking too... and maybe that guy's gang or mafia, if he has one." Rocks says.
"True, Rocks. My guess would be the Snow Lane Mafia, since they vanished; just like how the Snow Lane Gang vanished. Plus, they have similar names." Lefado says.
"That's my guess, too. We should speak to these gangs. We've already interviewed Whitnay, who has close ties to the Snow Lane Gang. Now, we should talk to a member of Hermanos del Peligro. Maybe they have more information about the Snow Lane Mafia." Travis says.
"Agreed, Travis." says Lefado. "These Hermanos del Peligro guys seem pretty peaceful, how about you and the rest of the CPPD team visit their neighborhood and speak with them tomorrow morning. Around 8:00 AM. Make sure to load your gun, just in case these guys aren't what they seem. Got it?" Lefado asks Travis.
"Got it." Travis says.
"Ric, got it?" Lefado asks Ric.
"Yep." Ric says.
"Good. You are all dismissed." Lefado tells the alliance.
Friday, September 19, 2008 - Hermanos del Peligro's Neighborhood
"Ok, boys. Lets make this quick. Over." Officer Ric tells his team through his walkie talkie.
"Over." Officer James, Officer Travis's partner, states through his walkie talkie.
"You got your gun ready?" Travis asks James.
"All ready." James says.
"Let's go then." Travis says. They both get out of James's car and walk up to the Hermanos del Peligro warehouse, located in the Hermanos del Peligro neighborhood. Ric soon joins them.
"How many members are in this gang, Travis?" Ric asks.
"Not sure, sir." Travis replies. "I doubt there's too many." Travis says.
"Well, we're about to find out. I'll knock on the Warehouse door, you guys stay back and cover me." Ric tells his team.
"Yes, sir." Travis and James both say together. Ric walks up to the Warehouse front door and knocks. No answer. He knocks again. Still no answer. He knocks a third time, this time much louder. Still no answer.
"Maybe they left..." Ric says. A voice then rattled their ears.
"Hey! Why are you here?" says a brown penguin, walking up to the officers from the back of the warehouse.
"We need to talk to any member of the gang Hermanos del Peligro. Do you know anyone we could talk to?" Ric asks the stranger.
"Yes. I'm right here, ask away." the penguin says.
"Who are you?!" Ric asks the penguin suspiciously.
"The name's Alberto. I'm, of course, a member of Hermanos del Peligro. A high ranking member, may I add." he says. "What do you want?" he then asks.
"We're here to ask questions about a certain mafia." Ric tells him.
"Certain mafia? Let me guess - Snow Lane Mafia. We don't know where they're at." Alberto says.
"Yes, Snow Lane Mafia. That wasn't our question. You see, we need more information ab..." Ric says until Alberto cuts him off.
"They're leader is Alfonzo Hernandez, a rich coward who lives off of money. The mafia is made up of four gangs. Well, at least it was. I don't know how many gangs are apart of it now. Anyway, most of them disappeared in 2006. Haven't heard of them since. Did I answer all of your questions?" Alberto states.
"Some of them. I just have a few more. Do you know a gang named Mortal? Do they have a relationship with the Snow Lane Mafia? If so, what kind of relationship?" Ric asks Alberto. Alberto grins.
"Mortal? You mean Immortal? Yeah, I know them. The gang has a relationship with them. It's not a very good one, though." Alberto responds.
"Why's that?" Travis asks.
"Just... because. Anyway, they do have a relationship with Snow Lane Mafia - they're part of it..." Alberto tells the officers.
Meanwhile, at the S.H.I.E.L.D Warehouse Command Room
"Ok, guys. Now that the CPPD team are getting more information about the Snow Lane Mafia, we need to turn our focus back on the Snow Lane Gang and Snow Trail Allies. Now, I know you and The Core aren't on the same page right now, but you guys have to work together to take care of this!" Lefado tells the W.R. Penguin members.
"Tell that to the Core." Rocks says. "We've tried to work with them many times before, it always turns out the same. 'We got this', 'We don't need your stupid help'. Then they fail and blame us for not helping! They're cowards. We don't deal with cowards."
"Well, you have to deal with them now. The Snow Trail Allies are a threat. They're too big for you guys to handle alone. You need the Core's help! Have you guys ever thought about working your problems out?" Lefado asks.
"Yep - always the same outcome. They refuse to talk things out because they're too good for us." Rocks replies.
"Well, if you guys can't work things out, I guess I'm going to have to." Lefado says.
"Ha, good luck with that." Rocks says.
"Thanks, meeting dismissed." Lefado says.
"You can't work anything out. No one can." Rocks says getting out of his chair. He then walks out of the room, along with the rest of the W.R. Penguin members.
"Oh, yes I can. And I will." Lefado says with a grin.
Saturday, September 20, 2008 - Lefado's Warehouse
Michael Lefado is sitting in the Warehouse kitchen when the members of Ric's CPPD team walk into the door.
"What did you guys find out?" Lefado asks Ric.
"The Snow Lane Mafia's leader is someone named Alfonzo Hernandez. Alberto, Hermanos del Peligro's leader, I assume, describes him as a rich coward who lives off of money. He disappeared back in 2006, along with most of the mafia - which he said is made up of four gangs. Well, at least it was." Ric replies.
"What did he say about Mortal?" Lefado asks.
"Immortal. Their name is Immortal, not Mortal. He said his gang has a relationship with them, but not a very good one. He didn't state why." Ric says.
"Alright, alright. Does Immortal have any connections to the Snow Lane Mafia?" Lefado questions.
"Oh yeah. They're part of it." Ric responds.
"Oh... who are the other three gangs then?" Lefado asks.
"We didn't ask him. He didn't really know if there were still four gangs." Ric tells him.
"Oh. You guys did good. I'll reward you soon." Lefado tells the team. All of a sudden, a few gun shots fire from outside.
"WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!" Ric yells.
"Shhhh... no! It's a test. Stay here and don't do a thing. Here they come!" Lefado whispers. The W.R. Penguins then run up to him.
"We're under attack! Do you want us to take care of this?!" Rocks asks Lefado.
"Yes, please! I just called back up in case you need it! They're on their way! Now, move!" Lefado orders. The penguins then rush outside, prepared for war. Outside, an unknown gang of six are shooting at the W.R. Penguins. The penguins fire back, and rush for cover. The gang fires so fast, the penguins aren't even able to lift their hands up from cover. All of a sudden, a truck speeds into the scene. Out comes a S.H.I.E.L.D group of 5. Out comes none other than the Core.
"These jerks? He called in these jerks?!" Rocks yells to the rest of the members of the W.R. Penguins. The Core fires at the unknown gang. Soon, the W.R. Penguins are able to get up from cover. The two groups work together to try and drive the gang off. Lefado then suddenly rushes out the door and yells for the groups to hold fire. They do as told. The gang quit firing also.
"What?! Why? They're attacking us!" Rocks says loudly with a confused look.
"They aren't anymore." Lefado responds. "Guys! Great job! You're ordered to leave now." Lefado yells to the unknown gang. The gang then run to their trucks and drive off.
"What?! Was this a setup?!" Rocks asks.
"Obviously it was, dumba**." Agent Adam, code name Tax, leader of the Core, says to Rocks.
"Does it look like I was talking to you, smarta**?!" Rocks responds to Adam.
"Hey, hey, hey! Calm down guys! It wasn't a setup, it was just a test. You all passed." Lefado tells the two groups.
"Test?!" Rocks says.
"Yes, a test. I told you I was going to work things out. And I just did." Lefado tells him.
"Explain, please." Adam tells Lefado.
"That gang was one of my test groups. They're highly trained to start test attacks without injuring or killing anybody. This whole thing was a test to see if you guys could work together to overcome them, and you guys did. Now I know you guys can work together, something you, Rocks, said you couldn't do." Lefado tells the two groups.
"Well, that was the first and last time we're working with these idiots." Adam says. "C'mon, guys. Let's get out of here." He tells his group.
"Ohhhh, no it's not. We have a war to take care of. You want to put an end to the Snow Trail Allies? You're going to need each other." Lefado tells the Core. "Not only the Snow Trail Allies, but a new enemy. A new enemy that goes by the name of Immortal."

Chapter 3: Recovery
Monday, June 12, 2006; 8:23 AM - CP Community Hospital
Mario finally wakes up after 3 days of sleep. He tries to move, but pain shoots through his spine preventing him from doing so. He screeches in pain.
"He's awake!" Mario hears an unknown voice yell. A man and a lady in white coats then enter the room.
"Where... am.... I....." Mario manages to ask them.
"You're in the hospital." The male doctor tells him. Mario looks down at his arm, only to see it wrapped in a cast. "You were attacked. We don't know by who, and that's none of our business. That's the CPPD's business. Anyway, you were opened up pretty badly in two different areas - the right side of your back and your left shoulder. Both places have serious damage, and I don't know if we can fully repair them. Your back seems to have suffered the least damage, so that's a plus, I guess. Anyway, I'm sorry, but you may have to live the rest of your life with serious back issues and paralysis in your left arm." The doctor says.
"My g... my amigos! Where are they?!" Mario asks the male doctor. The doctor looks down to the floor. Then up again with nothing but seriousness covering his face.
"I'm sorry..." He begins. Mario interrupts.
"No! No! NO! It can't be! You b*stards! You're all b*stards! Pedazos de Mierda! F***ERS!" Mario yells.
"Calm down! Don't make much movement!" The male doctor urges him. Mario breaks into tears. "Calm down and listen, they're not dead... not yet, anyway. But... it's not looking good. We have experts, though! There's a chance they'll make it!" The doctor tells him. Mario calms down. He then rests his head on his pillow.
"They better make it. Or H*ll is going to rain on this place. Mi Infierno." Mario says without making eye contact with any of the doctors. The male doctor sighs and walks out the door. The nurse follows. Mario then falls back to sleep.

"Good news! We found out that the knife that went through your back didn't go in deep enough to cause any kind of long-term damage. The pain you're feeling in your spine are due to the big gash in your back. The gash is awfully close to your spine, but there's no serious damage to your spinal cords. We've already made some minor repairs and sealed you up, so that should do the trick. Your shoulder, however, is a different story. I'm sorry, but you will have to deal with paralysis in your left arm. It could be worse, though. Your shoulder injury could possibly be causing the pain in your spine, too." The doctor tells him.
"What about my amigos?" Mario is quick to ask.
"Your friend Pedro's damages are much similar to yours, but his are definitely more serious. Good news is that he's awake and talking. We think he's going to pull through. Your friend, Armando, though, is a different story." He tells Mario.
"What do you mean it's a different story?!" Mario asks loudly.
"He's still in a coma. He has 4 bullet wounds. The wound in his leg and left arm aren't deep enough to cause any serious damage, and can be easily repaired. The wounds in his right arm and stomach are different. With the right treatment, though, we think he'll come out of it and be good to go. But arm paralysis and long-term abdomen issues are certainly a possibility."
"What about the CPPD? Did they catch those b*stards yet?!" Mario asks.
"I'm not sure. We've gotten no updates. If we do get any updates, though, you'll be the first one to know!" The doctor says. He smiles and leaves the room. Mario bites down on his teeth, trying to keep his anger in.
Monday, June 27, 2006; 2:43 PM - CP Community Rehabilitation Center
"Ok. Now, stand up. There we go. Straighten your back. There we go! Perfect! You're making a speedy recovery!" Marla, Mario's rehabilitation therapist tells him. "Now we're going to do some practices for your arm and you should be done for the day. Your doctor did an excellent job repairing!" She says. Mario nods in agreement.
Have Mario visit his friends at the hospital then return home, only to see his whole neighborhood destroyed. Have him fall to his knees in the road and break down crying. End the chapter there.
