Chapter 1: The Story
Ice, Tanner and I walk into the Pizza Parlor for some pizza. It's the night before Halloween and Cal, the pizza guy, is setting up his Halloween decorations for his yearly haunted house he hosts at the Pizza Parlor every Halloween. We walk up to a table and sit down. A couple minutes later, Cal walks up to us to take our order.
"How you boys doing?!" Cal asks us.
"Not bad." I respond
"That's good!" Cal says grinning. "What would you guys like to order?" Cal asks.
"Just give me two pieces of the special snow pizza!" Ice replies.
"Two pieces of snow pizza..." Cal says while writing on a piece of paper in his notepad. "Anything else?" He asks.
"Hmm.... nah." Ice responds.
"Ok. How 'bout you two?" Cal asks, turning to Tanner and I.
"I'll have three pieces of pepperoni pizza along with an ice-cold cream soda." I reply. Cal writes my order down, then turns his head towards Tanner.
"You?" Cal asks Tanner.
"What?" Tanner asks him.
"What do you want?" Cal responds.
"Nothing." Tanner replies to him.
"Then why are you here?" Cal asks him.
"To hang out with my friends." Tanner says.
"To hang out with friends? You're here in a steamy pizza parlor with hundreds of mouth watering, delicious pizzas right in front of you and you're here only to hang out with friends?!" Cal asks him with shock.
"Yeah, pretty much." Tanner says nodding.
"So you want nothing? Not even a soda?" Cal asks him.
"Nope. I'm good." Tanner responds.
"What about a tea?" Cal asks him.
"Nope." Tanner replies.
"Water?" Cal asks him.
"Nope." Tanner says.
"Milk?" asks Cal.
"Again, nope." Tanner responds.
"Juice?!" Cal asks.
"No!" Tanner shouts.
"C'mon! You gotta order something!" Cal says loudly.
"Fine! I'll order a... blood bath supreme!" Tanner says sarcastically. I giggle a little bit.
"What did you just say?" Cal asks in a serious manner.
"A blood bath supreme..." Tanner says.
"What's wrong with that?" I ask Cal.
"Don't you know what that is?!" Cal says, surprised.
"It was a joke..." Tanner tells him. Cal shakes his head.
"That's no joke, boy. You see, the blood bath supreme is the name a kid, from long ago, gave his favorite kind of pizza."
"And?" Ice asks.
"And?! And that kid got bullied! And that kid died! And that kid died because of suicide! And that kid died on Halloween night! And that kid haunts people on Halloween night!" Cal says loudly. He's out of breath.
"Well sorry for asking!" Ice says.
"Sorry. I kind of get carried away whenever someone mentions the blood bath supreme." Cal tells him.
"Yeah, I've noticed." Ice says.
"Listen. The blood bath supreme is nothing to joke about. It was named by a kid named Frank Bloodbath. You see, the Pizza Parlor hasn't always been here in the spot it's currently in. Long ago, before Club Penguin was named Club Penguin, the Pizza Parlor was located in the Forest. Deep down in the Forest. There was a path that led down there. I believe the path was near the path that leads to here, the Plaza. There used to be a mini mall located here, by the way."
"A mini mall? Lucky old penguins." Tanner interrupts.
"Yes, very lucky. Anyway, the Pizza Shop, it was called the Pizza Shop instead of Pizza Parlor, was famous back then. It was Rockhopper famous! Very, very famous. All the kids used to hang out there, including Frank. Frank was described as... well..." Cal pulls up a chair from another table and sits down. "as... a female dog. Of course, that's an insult. But back then, it was one of the most cruelest insults. And you know what? It didn't affect Frank at all. Actually, nothing affected Frank. They called him every cruel word in the book, and it did nothing to him. At least, that's what they thought. You see, everyday, Frank went to the Pizza Shop to order his favorite kind of pizza, the Blood Bath Supreme." Cal suddenly got goosebumps. "He worshiped those pizzas. It was the only thing he had in his life."
"What about his mom and dad?" Tanner asks.
"His mother and father abandoned him when he was a baby. His grumpy old grandpa took care of him. His grandpa, of course, loved him. But Frank always ignored him for some strange reason." Cal says. All of a sudden, a customer walks into the door.
"Hey, are you guys still open?" the yellow penguin asks.
"Oh, yeah. BETH, WE HAVE A CUSTOMER!" Cal yells. Beth is an employee for Cal. She's a waiter and dishes cleaner.
"CAN'T YOU TAKE HIS ORDER?" Beth asks, yelling.
"I'M BUSY!" Cal yells back.
"FINE!" Beth yells. Beth comes out of the kitchen and the yellow penguin walks up to the counter. She takes his order.
"Ok, as I was saying, Frank always ignored his grandfather for some strange reason. Don't ask why, because I have no idea. They lived in a small, junky old igloo on Snow Lane Street. You know, that street where all the gangsters hang out? Yeah, there. Very junky igloo. Looked like it was ready to cave in at any time. Frank was known as the "doofus" of the street." Cal suddenly looks at his watch. "Ah, my shift is almost over! Ok, let's get to the main point of the story. One Halloween night, Frank was in the Pizza Shop ordering his special Blood Bath Supreme. He ordered more than usual that night. Normally, Frank would eat his pizzas at the Pizza Shop. But for some reason, he decided to take them home with him. Big mistake. Outside, there was a group waiting for him. They weren't on his side, either. When Frank walked out the door, one of the people in the group knocked the pizzas right out of his hands. They then ganged up on him and little old Frank got the beating of a lifetime."
"Then what happens? Is that it?" Tanner asks.
"No, that's not it. The group of bullies knocked Frank out. He was out for quite some time. When he woke up, he saw all of his worshiped pizzas scattered on the floor. He also saw people. People laughing. People laughing at him. Frank started crying. He then got up and ran in front of a moving car. He died shortly after due to brain injuries. No one knows what really triggered his death. If it was his worshiped pizzas getting knocked out of his hands, if it was the bullies who beat him up or if it was the people laughing at him. Many people believe it was the pizzas getting knocked out of his hands and the people laughing at him. But I believe different. I believe that he was hiding his emotions. I think the name calling and bullying actually got to him, but his pizzas were there to stop him from doing something stupid. Then when Frank saw his pizzas scattered on the floor, ruined, and the bullying still going on towards him, he finally gave up."
"So, that's why you get all freaked out when someone mentions the Blood Bath Supreme?" I ask.
"Oh, no. That's the sad part of the story. Now, for the creepy part. You see, the famous Pizza Shop got knocked down a few weeks after Frank's death. They closed the path leading to the Pizza Shop a few days after. Now, it's rumored that on Halloween night, if you go to the location where the Pizza Shop was located and stand on the spot where Frank died, Frank's ghost will appear. And, no, it won't shake your hand. It won't greet you. But it will kill you. And it's rumored that before it kills you, it'll laugh at you. Just like how people laughed at Frank before his death. Now, I know you guys probably won't believe this. And to be honest, I didn't believe it at first, either. That's until I witn..." Cal gets interrupted by his watch. "Ah, dang it! My shift is over. Ok, as I was saying, I didn't believe it until I witnessed it."
"How did you witness it?" Ice asks.
"My former best friend and I went to the location. Well, at least my best friend went to the location. I stayed behind, hung out by the big rock in the Forest. Minutes after my friend went into the Forest, I heard laughter. Then a yell. This was Halloween 7 years ago, by the way. I then heard more laughter and then a scream. Never saw him again."
"Man, that's scary." the yellow penguin said.
"Yeah. Well, my shift is over. See ya guys soon." Cal says.
"Wait! What about our pizzas?!" I ask Cal.
"Have Beth cook them! Bye!" Cal told me, walking out the door.
"How you boys doing?!" Cal asks us.

Chapter 2: The Search
Tanner, Ice, and I are walking to my igloo from the Pizza Parlor. It's a cold, cloudy Wednesday night and you can hear the wind whistling and the owls howling in the background. We begin talking about the story Cal told us.
"You guys don't believe that story, do you?" Tanner asks us.
"Yes! My uncle once told me to always believe a story someone older than you tells you. So, because of that, I believe every bit of it!" Ice says.
"So, if someone older than you told you a cheesy story about the tooth fairy stealing... your... cheese, you'd believe it?" Tanner asks Ice.
"Yes." Ice responds. Tanner shakes his head.
"Do you believe that story?" I ask Tanner.
"HA, no! Like I'm supposed to believe some cheesy story about a bullied spirit killing people when they stand in a certain area?!" Tanner says, laughing. "Cal was just trying to scare us. None of it was true, and if you guys believe it, I feel sorry for you!" Tanner says. All of a sudden, his phone's alarm goes off. "Woah! The soccer game is on in 5 minutes! Gotta roll! Bye!" Tanner tells us. He then runs to his igloo.
"Do you believe that story, Rocks?" Ice asks me. I look at him then turn to look behind me. Tanner is no where in sight. I turn back around.
"I don't know." I respond.
"How don't you know?" Ice asks.
"I just don't know." I tell him. He gives me a confused look, then looks down at his watch.
"Woah, gotta run! My mom is cooking her famous chili! Can't talk, bye!" Ice says in a hurry. He then runs to his igloo, soon to be no where in sight. I continue to walk to my igloo. I keep thinking about the story, and when I get to my igloo, I decide to look it up on the internet.
"Ok... bullied pizza-loving spirit in Fore... oh, there it is!" I say to myself while typing into Snow Search. The first result has the exact same story Cal told us... along with an image that might just give me nightmares for the rest of my life. A picture. A picture of Frank Bloodbath's ghost in the Forest. The picture shows a little ghost kid in a suit and dress pants. His face is white and scary enough to give you chills that won't go away. I scroll down a little more, surprised at what I see. "How to break the curse...?" I read a little more, then I get up and run to my phone. I call Ice. "Ice! You won't believe what I just found on the net!"
"What did you find?" Ice asks, hardly understandable.
"Is your mouth full?" I ask him.
"Yes." He says.
"With what?" I ask.
"Chili." He responds.
"Oh right." I say. "Well, anyway, I believe it now!" I tell him.
"Believe what?" He asks me.
"The story..." I answer.
"Oh right." Ice says. "What made you believe it?!" Ice asks me.
"Well, when I got to my igloo, I decided to search for more information about the story on Snow Search. I found a website that had the exact same story, but included an image... an image of Frank's ghost."
"Woah, that's creepy." Ice says.
"I know right?! That one picture made me believe the whole story... but there's more." I tell Ice.
"More?" asks Ice, confused.
"Yes, more. There's a way to break the curse!" I say.
"No way!" Ice says, surprised.
"And you know what?!"
"What?!"
"We're going to go into the Forest tomorrow night and try to break the curse!" I tell him with excitement.
"Wait, wha..." he said right before I hung up on him. I put the phone down and quickly grabbed a piece of paper and pen. I wrote down the instructions on how to end the curse. I then go to bed.
"You guys don't believe that story, do you?" Tanner asks us.
"Yes! My uncle once told me to always believe a story someone older than you tells you. So, because of that, I believe every bit of it!" Ice says.

Chapter 3: Backlen
I wake up around 8:00 in the morning. Today was the day. Today was Halloween. I get up from bed and quickly take a shower and get ready for the day. I then walk over to my phone and pick it up. I call Tanner.
"Hey Tanner, I believe the story now!" I tell him.
"Aw, you woke me up just to tell me that?!" Tanner says.
"No, there's more." I say.
"Well, spit it out!" Tanner says loudly.
"Tonight, we're going into the Forest. We're going to confront Frank's ghost." I tell him.
"You really woke me up to tell me this?!" Tanner tells me.
"Dude, I'm serious. We're going to break the curse." I say.
"Break the curse? Hahahahahaha! Break the curse?!?! Are you kidding me?!" Tanner says, laughing.
"No, I'm not kidding you! Just come along. Ice is coming with us." I say.
"Of course he is! You guys really believed that crap! HA!" Tanner says, still laughing.
"DUDE, I'm being serious here! Just come with us and we'll show you the story is re..." Tanner interrupts me.
"You know what?! I'm going to go with you guys. And I'm going to bring a camera with me! And I'm going to film it! And I'm going to upload it to SnowTube. AND I'm going to show the whole world how stupid you guys really are!" Tanner says. He's not laughing any more.
"Good! Now I can prove that the story is true!" I say to him.
"No, now I can prove that Cal, Ice and you are all full of it!" Tanner says. He hangs up on me. I put me phone down and shake my head. I then grab a bag of popcorn and spend the rest of my day watching Halloween movies. Until night falls. There are now trick or treaters out and adult penguins playing tricks on their children. I'm preparing for the curse. I grab my instructions and phone and head out. I'm supposed to meet Tanner and Ice at the Forest. I get to the Forest, and Ice and Tanner are standing there.
"Ok, let's do this and get it over with. Time to embarrass both of you." Tanner tells us.
"Rocks, are you sure you want to d..." Ice asks me. I interrupt him.
"Yes. Now let's go." I say.
"Hmmm.... oh, ow! OW! OW! AHHHHHHHH!" Ice suddenly screams. Tanner and I rush over to him and aid him.
"What the heck happened?!" I ask him.
"I don't know! I was just standing here and my foot... string... just, like... gave out!" Ice tells us. Tanner busts out laughing.
"Hahahahahaha! That's the worse acting ever, dude!" Tanner says.
"Alright, get up! Let's go!" I tell Ice.
"Oh, c'mon! You're way over your head if you think I'm gonna go in there and confront a bullied, scary, spir..." Ice says. He stops his sentence when I walked away from him. "We're screwed!" He tells himself.
"Oh, shut up! You're stupid if you think this thing is actually real!" Tanner tells Ice while walking into the Forest.
"Tanner, it's real." I tell Tanner.
"Of course you'd say that." Tanner says. I shake my head at him.
"I still don't think this is a good idea!" Ice tells us.
"Oh, shut up and listen. The old Pizza Shop area is east from Lake Mythster. The website said there's an old sidewalk behind the Lake Mythster cabin. Just follow that sidewalk and you should get there!" I tell them.
"Lake Mythster has it's own cabin?" Ice asks me.
"Yeah. A guy named Sgt. Backlen lives there. He's helped me before." I tell him. "I know exactly where we're going."
"That's good... I guess." Ice says. 2 hours then pass by, and we still haven't made it to Backlen's Cabin. Ice looks like he's about to fall over.
"Are you sure we're going the right direction?!" Ice says tiredly.
"Positive." I say.
"You better be positive! If I find out we're going the wrong way, I'll manually stomp your fa..." Tanner says until I interrupt him.
"We're here!" I say. "Lady and gentlepenguin, welcome to Backlen's Cabin! Lake Mythster is that way to anyone who likes to get into situations where you most likely won't live!" I say, pointing to the west.
"Wait, lady? Who's supposed to be the la..." Tanner begins to say until someone interrupts him.
"WHO'S OUT HERE! I SWEAR, IF YOU DON'T SHOW YOUR FACE, I'LL HUNT YOU DOWN AND SLIT... oh, it's you." Sgt. Backlen says very loudly.
"Sgt. Backlen! Nice to see you again! These are my friends, Ice and Tanner." I tell Sgt. Backlen. "Say hi, guys." I tell Tanner and Ice.
"Hi..." Tanner and Ice both say, nervously.
"Hi, nice to meet ya. Sorry if I... uh... scared ya a bit. As you can see, I don't take intruders very... uh... politely." Sgt. Backlen tells Tanner and Ice.
"Yeah, we can tell..." Tanner tells him.
"Yeah... so, where you guys headed?" Backlen asks us.
"The old Pizza Shop area. I'm not sure what it's official name is." I respond. Backlen gives me a shocked look.
"The old Pizza Area... on a Halloween night?! Are you crazy!" Backlen says loudly.
"Was that a question?" I ask him. He gives me a stressed face.
"Listen, you're brave, kid. The last time you were out here, you impressed me, knowing I was out-cold during most of it. Here, take my knife." Backlen tells me. He then gives me his knife. He reaches down in his pocket and grabs a handgun and some bullets. "Take this, too." He says while handing me the gun and bullets.
"How are we supposed to stab or shoot through a ghost?!" Tanner says, laughing.
"Boy, I have an extra knife in the cabin! You give me that attitude again and I'll be having me some penguin soup tonight!" Backlen tells Tanner. Tanner suddenly stops laughing and freezes. He looks scared. "Now, listen. You see that old sidewalk over there? Follow it. It'll take you to the area. Now, go! Feel free to run back to me if you get in any trouble!" Backlen tells us. We head towards the sidewalk and start our mission.

Chapter 4: The Curse
We keep walking until we meet a wide, dark, scary opened area.
"Alright, let's get this over with! Where am I supposed to stand?" asks Tanner.
"Wait, I thought I was going to step in the place where Fred died?" I ask Tanner.
"No, I'm stepping in the place!" Tanner says.
"I thought you wanted to record?!" I ask Tanner with anger.
"No, I'm going to record you crying over the fact that you're an idiot!" Tanner responds.
"Oh, that's how it is, huh?!" I say. We argue back and forth for a few seconds.
"You're an idiot!" Tanner tells me.
"No, you're the idiot!" I yell at Tanner.
"Uh... guys..." Ice says. He tries to get our attention.
"You're just jealous because I get the hotter ladies!" Tanner tells to me.
"Oh, really?!" I say.
"Guys..." Ice says, once again failing to get our attention.
"Yes, really!" Tanner says.
"That last lady of yours looked like a rat that got ran over by two semis!" I tell Tanner with hatred.
"GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Ice yells, this time succeeding to get our attention.
"WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!" Tanner and I yell.
"Look behind you..." Ice tells us, with a scared look on his face. We both turn around. There it is. Fred Bloodbath's spirit.
"Hello, victim." the spirit says. The spirit begins laughing. I suddenly remember the piece of paper with the instructions on it. I pull it out of my pocket. I read the instruction on how to break the curse. It says the victim will need to read a poem out loud to break the curse. I read the poem out loud. Nothing happens.
"Why isn't it working?!" I ask Ice.
"I don't think the spirit is after you." says Ice. "I think it's after... Tanner." Ice tells me. I look at him, then suddenly screamed Tanner's name out. Before I can pass him the instructions, The spirit races towards him. It knocks him out somehow. Then it pulls out a ghostly sharp object. It aims at Tanner. Then, all of a sudden, someone sweeps Tanner out of the way and makes the save. That someone is Cal.
"Get back and aid him!" Cal tells us, setting Tanner on the ground next to us. "Give me that poem." Cal tells me. I give it to him and he takes it. He then runs toward the spirit. The spirit looks angry at him. "Hey! Spirit! I have something for you." Cal says. He then throws a piece of pizza with a lot of sauce on it from his pocket in front of the spirit. "I heard you liked pizza!" Call tells the spirit. The spirit aims towards the pizza. He picks it up and chops at it. Cal then reads the poem out loud. All of a sudden, a loud boom awakes the Forest. The spirit and piece of pizza disappears. No where to be found. "Are you guys alright?!" Cal asks us.
"Yeah, we're fine." I tell him. "Well, most of us are fine." I say, looking down at Tanner. "What are you doing here?" I ask Cal.
"Can't answer, we have to hurry up and get this kid to the hospital." Cal says. "Let's take the short way."
"Short way?" Ice asks.
"Yeah, there's a short way into this area." Cal says, picking up Tanner. "People who know about it don't want people who don't know to know about it. They want to prevent deaths." Cal says while walking into an unknown path. We follow him.
"What about the Lake Mythster path?" I ask.
"Sgt. Backlen is not supposed to let people go into this area. I guess he let you guys because he saw you." Cal says while looking at me. I grin. We walk through an unknown path that leads to the Mine Shack. It only takes 20 minutes. When we get to the Mine Shack, Cal calls for an ambulance. He tells them he found an out-cold kid playing in the Forest. He lied and said that Tanner fell from a tree and hit his head. When the ambulance comes, two EMTs get out of the ambulance with a stretcher. Cal puts Tanner on the stretcher and Tanner goes.
"Poor kid. When he wakes up, he won't know what hit him." Cal says.
"Yeah... so, why were you in the Forest tonight?" I ask him. Cal looks at me then turns his head the opposite way.
"You know how I told you Fred's spirit killed my best friend?" Cal asks.
"Yeah..." I respond.
"Well, ever since then, every Halloween, I visit the area in honor of my best friend. I don't really step into the area, I just stand there and look around it. Maybe say a few prayers, wish he was still alive. Tonight, I was doing the same. Standing and looking. Until you guys showed up." Cal tells us.
"Oh... sorry." I say.
"No, no. Nothing to be sorry about. Now, listen. Don't ever go into those woods again, hear me?" Cal says in a sargent-like voice.
"Yes sir!" Ice and I both say at the same time.
"Good! Now if you excuse me, I need a cream soda..." Cal says. He then walks away. Ice and I both watches as he walks away, then turn around and walk the opposite way.
"Man, good thing Cal was there to save Tanner." Ice says. "Thought he was a goner there for a minute!"
"Yeah, same here. Maybe Tanner will straighten up after that." I say. Ice looks at me with a smile.
"Ha! Yeah right!" he says. I look at him and laugh. "Hey, I gotta go. My mom is waiting for me. We're going trick or treating! Seeya!" Ice says.
"Bye." I tell him. He then jogs away. I keep walking towards the Dojo, then I look up at the moon. All of a sudden, I hear a big growl, followed by a gun shot. "Good ol' Backlen is back at it." I say to myself. Then I walk away from the Mine Shack.
"Alright, let's get this over with! Where am I supposed to stand?" asks Tanner.
"Wait, I thought I was going to step in the place where Fred died?" I ask Tanner.
