In the last post, I announced that I'll be returning to this website to finish unfinished business. I have a ton of posts saved as drafts on all three blogs featured here that I plan on publishing before I move to a different website, which will most likely be 2 and a half years from now when I have a Web Design degree.
Another reason why I returned is because I abandoned some ideas that I really don't want to go to waste. Namely, the "Federation" storyline on my "WW3" blog.
However, the MAIN reason I'm back is because I'm going to use this website as a testing ground - no, not for nuclear bombs - for ideas that I have in mind for a new blog I'm going to be releasing (the one that got deleted due to my PC turning heel on me.... and because I forgot to log in before the deadline). I also want to test my writing skills and try new styles, as I feel my writing needs s̶o̶m̶e̶ a lot of work.
So, expect some different (ooo, italic) posts in the future.
I'll see myself out on that note.
~Dude who owns this website
"As you can see, lines J and K are parallel..." My Geometry teacher explained to us on a warm September day. We were learning about parallel lines and transversals, one of the easiest Geometry that exists.
We were going by my teacher's regular routine; he teaches us for 20-25 minutes then gives us the homework so we have at least 20-25 minutes to do it and possibly complete it.
We were about 17 minutes into class whenever a big slam interrupted my instructor's teaching. Strangely, nobody was near the doorway.
A few seconds later, the door slammed shut. Again, nobody was close to it. The whole class looked on in fear.
"What the hell..." My teacher said, more confused than me when attempting Algebra.
After class, as I was walking through the doorway, a sticker planted on the door's window caught my eye. It read, 'In Loving Memory of Lacey Seed'.
"Who's Lacey Seed?" I asked my friend Chris, who was walking right behind me.
"She was a student here that died a few years ago in a car accident. She used to be my neighbor." He replied. "Her birthday is today, actually." I looked at him.
"Her birthday is today?" I began. "You don't think..."
"I don't know. She should've graduated last year. I know if she was alive, she would've wanted to celebrate with her class mates. It could've been her, if you believe in that kind of stuff." He responded. He then walked off as I stood by the doorway in deep thought.
A chill suddenly interrupted my thinking. I looked around, then hurried to my next class. I wanted to get the hell away from there.
I was in my yard playing with the snow on a cold December day whenever a man I'd never seen before approached me.
"Hey. I have something to tell you." The man said.
"...What?" I responded, suspiciously.
"That Christmas tree you have up... it's going to burn tonight." he replied. I was hit by confusion.
"What do you mean? Who are you?!" I asked.
"Just make sure to lock that door." He pointed towards my house. I turned my head. He was aiming at the back door.
Whenever I turned my head back around, he was gone. I scanned my surroundings.
No sign of him.
I froze in my position for a little bit, letting his words sink into my head. I then took off inside and told my dad about my encounter.
"What the hell? He just walked into our yard and told you that?" My dad asked.
"Yes." I responded. He shook his head and then started to the closet.
He came back with two shot guns.
"He'll be pretty damn lucky if he even makes it to our porch." He said, loading the two guns. "Chris, you guard the front door. I'll guard the back door," He commanded to my brother, Chris. "You make sure all the windows are locked." He told me. I did exactly as directed.
That night, I heard the smoke alarm.
I ran into my living room, and what I saw made my heart pound in my ears.
The Christmas tree was on fire.
"WHAT THE HELL!" My dad yelled. A few seconds later, my brother jogged into the room with the fire extinguisher and started showering the flames until the tree was clear. "Chris, did anyone get passed you?" My dad asked.
"No! I know I didn't doze off, and I never left my chair. No one came through!" Chris replied. I could see the shock splattered on his face.
"Then how the hell did this happen..." My dad questioned, obviously upset.
I stood there, startled. I couldn't take my eyes off of the burnt tree.
But what really startled me was when I realized the man was right. He said the tree would burn tonight, and it did.
All of a sudden, the tears came falling. I ran to my room and locked the door behind me. I wiped the tears away and looked up.
My eyes met a note sitting on my bed. I picked it up.
'I warned you.' The note read.
My body went numb.
I was chatting on cam with my girlfriend on a dark, chilly night.
"Hey, I'll be right back." I told her.
"Ok." she replied.
I got up from my chair and headed towards my bathroom. When I got back, I noticed her webcam was turned off.
"Abbie? You there?" I asked. No response. A few minutes later, a message appeared in the chat with a link. I clicked the link, and what popped up startled me.
It was a picture of my room while I was gone, snapped by Abbie. Immediately, my eyes turned directly to the object on my bed.
It was a teddy bear. An old, tore up teddy bear that appeared to have been dug up from an attic. It sat straight up on my bed comfortably, it's brown fake fur covered in dust and spots of red. Half of it's right ear was missing and the other completely gone. The details that stood out to me the most, though, were it's eyes; they were both glowing red.
'I don't own a teddy bear', I thought, and when I turned my chair around, my bed was clear from any stuffed animals.
I rotated back to the picture and shock shot me in the face. The teddy bear was gone. It disappeared from the image. 'What happened to it? How did it disappear from the picture?', I thought. My shock was then interrupted by a tap. I turned back around towards my bed.
"Hello, heart. How are you?" I heard before I blacked out from the pain and blood loss.
I live in a neighborhood where everyone is pretty much isolated. So isolated that I sometimes feel like I inhabit a ghost town; you hardly see anyone outside unless there's an emergency, and there are at least 12 houses on my street. I don't know anyone.
Well, except this old lady named Mrs. Young that lived next door to me.
While I didn't know her very well, Mrs. Young was the only person I saw in the morning while going to school. She always greeted me and told me to have a good day. Then while walking home from school, she offered me cookies that she always had pre-prepared in a plastic quart. She did this enjoyable routine for about 6 years.
It all ended last year when her son showed up.
Last November, while walking home from school, I saw a man walking out of the old sweet lady's residence.
"Hey, is everything alright?" I asked the pale man.
"Oh, yeah. Definitely. I was just taking pictures of this house for a family reunion." he replied.
"Yes. This used to be my mom's house a long time ago. About 12 years ago, she was transported to a nursing home. She died 6 years later. The house has been abandoned since. I'm taking pictures of it for an album for the reunion."
"Wait... abandoned? But what about that lady... Mrs. Young, I think?"
"Yeah, that was my mother. She died six years ago." he replied. I froze up.
"But... I just talked to her yesterday... gray hair in a bun, big round glasses, always wore a dress?"
"Sorry, but she's been dead for six years. This house has been abandoned for 12. Only I have access to it. Now if you excuse me, I have a reunion to arrange." he said before walking to his truck. I stood in my place, too shocked to move. A minute later, I ran to my house.
I never went by that house again.
"Damn cheese balls." I told my friend Randy while washing my hands in the restroom. It was our lunch period and I had just got done filling my throat with pizza bites and cheese balls.
"That's why you eat them with a fork." Randy told me while combing his gel-filled hair. I gave him a look. "What? It's true!" he said. I refused to respond and continued washing my hands.
All of a sudden, something strange happened.
The sink to my right, opposite of the side Randy was on, erupted full-blast. I looked over. Nobody was there.
"Did you do that?" Randy asked.
"No..." I replied. A second after my response, the sink next to the running one turned on. Again, nobody was present.
"What the..." Randy said. Then his sink blasted on, an event that stunned him. "I'm getting out of here!" he blurted. He took off towards the door. I continued washing my hands, confused and dazed...
...until my sink's flowing water ended without my consent. Startled, I fled from the scene.
I never returned to that restroom again, and neither did Randy.
I sat in my chair, staring at the static that interrupted my favorite TV show. Frustrated, I picked up the remote. I started pressing buttons and banging the black controller, hoping for an image to appear.
A few smacks and buttons later, an image finally filled my TV screen. It wasn't very clear, but I noticed a figure. I then noticed a pillow. Then a square frame. My heart sank when I finally connected the pieces.
It was my wife. My wife who died 1 year ago.
I sat back shocked, watching as my wife lay lifeless in her coffin.
It's turkey day! Yep, today's the day when all families come together and celebrate with turkey, stuffing, arguments...
...and food fights! Happy Thanksgiving!
In other unrelated news, I've recently released the second chapter of my story 'Broken Deal'! You can read it by clicking here. I'm also working on another story related to Broken Deal. It's an army story and the main characters are characters you'll see in Broken Deal. In more unrelated news - I'm currently testing out wordpress.org, so don't be surprised if you see some Wordpress websites out of me soon.
Again, Happy Thanksgiving! Be sure to dive into that turkey! ;)
The first chapter of my new story 'Broken Deal' has been released! 'Broken Deal' is a Club Penguin-based gangster story. (Yes, a Club Penguin-based gangster story.) In this story - alliances will be broken, friends will be lost, friends will be gained, neighborhoods will be destroyed, and secrets will be revealed... Here's the Introduction for this story:
The Elite S.H.I.E.L.D Alliance is an alliance full of secret government agents, disguising themselves as "criminals" and "gangsters". This alliance consists of many secret government groups, including 'W.R. Penguins' and 'The Core'. The alliance's main goal is to eliminate all gangs from Club Penguin. But in their way is a much larger alliance full of harsh criminals. An alliance known as the 'Snow Trail Allies', who know about the Elite S.H.I.E.L.D Alliance's secret, and are willing to do ANYTHING to stop them. While the Snow Trail Allies are fighting against the Elite S.H.I.E.L.D Alliance, a gang known as 'La Pandilla' is at war with the 'Snow Lane Mafia' group 'Immortal', who were in fact once allies with La Pandilla. Who will win the wars? You'll find out soon enough! Oh, and also, while these alliances are fighting, some "unexpected guests" are watching...
This new chapter is named 'Bloody Little Liar', and you can read it by clicking here. Chapter 2 is finished and is waiting to be proof-read. It'll be released sometime in the next 2 weeks. Stay tuned...
Here are some quick updates on what I've been working on:
WRS Games - I started construction on WRS Games about 5 months ago, and I'm still not done. I'm currently working on a super secret project involving WRS Games. Very super secret. ;) On the website, I still need to work on some pages and add some games and toons, but that's it. Stay tuned! You can follow the official WRS Games twitter account by clicking here.
Club Penguin Community Forums - As some of you may know, I created a Club Penguin forums website. I released it last year on October 12, and it returned on June 4th of this year. It's once again inactive, but I have an idea of what I'm going to do with it. Stay tuned for future updates! You can follow the official CP Community Forums twitter account by clicking here.
Club Penguin Operation: Blackout Tour and Rooms video - Yes, I know. I'm kinda late. Operation: Blackout was an event that happened in November 2012, and I still haven't uploaded my "Tour and Rooms" video to YouTube. Don't worry, it'll be uploaded soon!
AirsoftWolves - AirsoftWolves is pretty much the home base for most of my websites. I've started working on a super secret website involving AirsoftWolves, but before I can continue, I need a team. Stay tuned to this website for job applications - this is the first place you'd find them! (Ok, second. But, you know, I need the hits.)
Wwerocks88 Comics - Wwerocks88 Comics, soon to be known as Rocks Comics, is where you can find all of my comics at (obviously). I'm currently planning on updating it and making the site active again. The site is currently private and will be opened to the public again soon.
YouTube - Ok, so I have a bunch of things planned for my YouTube account. Again, I still have to upload the Operation: Blackout video I was supposed to upload two years ago. That's almost finished and ready for upload, and I have tons of series planned for my channel. Some of those series are called "Rocks the Bounty Hunter", "Club Penguin Icy News", "Club Penguin Random Questioning", "Agent Rocks", "Gregg the Creep", and "Club Penguin Humor". Plus, I'm planning a cartoon series totally unrelated to Club Penguin. Stay tuned to my YouTube channel for future updates (and videos, of course).
'Betrayed but Not Broken' - Remember when I announced two stories that would be released soon? Well, I released one last year and the second, 'Betrayed but Not Broken', will be released this year. This is going to be a pretty long story. To be honest, I feel like I'm writing a book. That's how long it's going to be. Anyway, I've changed the name. The new name is 'Broken Deal'. The first chapter will be released this month or next month. (Yes, chapter. I'm not even half way done.) Stay tuned!
You can also expect a few updates around this website in the next, 48 hours? Maybe? ;)
What you're exploring right now is my 'office'; in other words, my main blog.
